To be quite honest, I have a love and hate relationship with the winter season. I love chunky sweaters and fuzzy scarves but it can be really difficult to look chic and be warm in this polar vortex New York has been experiencing. Nothing is more annoying than a cute fit burried under sweaters, scarves, and coats. And if you're like me you'll just endure the cold and wear your coat open no matter where you are, lol. I mean, who wouldn't risk just a slight runny nose for an outfit slay. Hope i'm not the only one!
My tip for staying warm and showing off your look is layers. LAYERS, LAYERS, and more LAYERS. Layer up those sweaters and button downs. Denim and plaid shirts pair up perfectly with any sweater if you want an extra layer for warmth and can turn a plain 'fit into a well-thought out look. Also adds some prep to your step ;)
I bought this cream sweater during that amazing blowout sale at Zara. I can't remember the original price but I bought it for $20. I actually scored 4 sweaters and 2 jeans for a little over $100 (I believe $107 or so). UGH DON'T YOU LOVE A GOOD SALE?
