Spring pastels

Happy Easter! well belated.. you get the point. I hope the day was filled with happiness, family, and lots of pretty Spring colors just as it was for me. The weather was just so beautiful! I spent the night before Easter decorating Easter eggs. I was feeling really arts and craft-y this year. Decorating eggs was a tradition amongst the cousins in my family. We would decorate the eggs and our grandma would hide them around the house. Whoever found the most eggs were given a dollar and then she would cook breakfast for all of us. I don't remember ever winning and I was a big sore-loser but like everything else, I got over it! lol :)

Although I was feeling very artsy this year, I didn't buy all the tools I needed to decorate the eggs the way I wanted them so you could imagine the mess at my kitchen table. I wanted to have a theme and decorate the eggs accordingly but the way it ended up.. I simply made it a "glitter" theme. Ugh, then I realized I didn't have glue so I replaced nail polish for glue and it worked just as good! See - I had my arts-and-craft thinking cap on! Photos of the eggs are at the end of the post.

Pastels are definitely in this Spring and what better way to showcase them then on Easter? I went for a super casual look this Easter with an all white outfit, oxfords, and a light blue blazer to pop. We know I love over-sized anything so I was definitely loving everything about this blazer. It kept me warm from the chill breeze but was lightweight enough to not die from a heat stroke (exaggerating).

Hey! Look at my very glittered eggs... :)

These were my favorite of the bunch. They are Dries Van Noten and Céline inspired. DIY idea taken from here.
