20.

Yesterday was exciting yet sad due to the realization that I am no longer a teenager! Actually, i'm really excited. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! My birthday was all sorts of special but honestly, i'm blessed, fortunate and lucky enough to say I have never had a bad birthday. My family and friends just know how to do it big!

They say turning 20 is irrelevant because you're not of age to drink but you are of age to be an adult, but I really think turning 20 is HUGE! You're really at the beginning of the rest of your prime years or as they'd like to call it your 'selfish' years. 20's are when all the big stuff happens. You grow, learn, love, travel, and just experience all things in life without any worries because you're old enough to do so and young enough to get it all right even if you completely screw it up.

I'm excited and ready!

Although it was a Wednesday and I had classes, my friends and family made it so much better. My day started with a scavenger hunt which led to probably one of the best gifts i've ever received - floor seats to Lady Gaga's concert in May. Ahhhh! Yesterday was filled with surprise after surprise. Dinner with my parents is a birthday tradition and this year was no different. The only downside to all of this are the boxes and boxes of ice cream cake, chocolate cake, cupcakes, and candy in my room, well this isn't really a downside ;)

The most adorable cupcakes from MDV Custom Cakes - they captured my closet perfectly! In love!

Overall, I had a great day and the celebration is so not over since I love to celebrate all week. Keep up with me on instagram and thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, i'm truly grateful!
